Purpose The purpose of this Mental Health Policy is to establish Safehands Ltd.’s commitment to supporting the mental health and well-being of all employees. Recognizing that mental health is essential to overall health, this policy outlines measures to create a supportive work environment, reduce stigma, and provide resources for mental health management.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and stakeholders of Safehands Ltd. across all operations and locations. It encompasses all activities and initiatives related to mental health, including:

Employee assistance programs
Training and awareness campaigns
Workplace accommodations
Crisis intervention and support

Responsibilities

Employees

Prioritize their mental health and seek support when needed.
Foster a respectful workplace that supports colleagues’ mental well-being.
Report concerns about workplace stressors or barriers to management.

Management

Create a supportive environment where employees feel comfortable discussing mental health.
Address workplace practices or conditions that may contribute to stress or poor mental health.
Trained Mental Health Aider to provide support to company staffs.

Training and Awareness

Awareness training on mental health topics, such as stress management, resilience, and self-care.
Make resources available to promote mental health awareness.

Workplace Accommodations

Implement flexible work arrangements where possible to support employees with mental health needs.
Adjust workloads and deadlines to reduce undue stress on employees.

Crisis Response

Establish protocols for responding to mental health crises, including emergency contact information and referral procedures.
Provide immediate support to employees in distress.

Reporting and Feedback Employees are encouraged to share feedback about this policy or report workplace factors affecting mental health through the following channels:
